Can a developer directed condo association decide on their own (no voting) to sell as apartments?
The condo that I bought in ‘07 is now listing on multiple websites as apartments. They are not actively selling. We were never notified as owners that this was going to be the course of action. Out of 20 units, only 4 are owned. The rest are now being rented. The renter to owner ratio is so high that no one could get a loan to buy my place. Is this legal? Can they do this with no notification? What can I do to get out of here, anything???
when this project was done the land had to set up as condos and what has been done is illegal and you have a case against the developer for fraud. You can never refinance this or even sell it out right as unless some one pays cash for it as no lender will ever lend on this again
